First look at Andrew Garfield as Spider-Man!

There have been a few glimpses of actors on the set of the new Spider-Man reboot, we've seen both Andrew Garfield and Emma Stone as Peter Parker and Gwen Stacy respectively. Today we got our first look of Garfield as Spider-Man, sporting a modified costume that will probably be equally hated and loved by the web masses. I think it looks kinda cool from what we can see of it so far. The image was dropped by Columbia Pictures on the movie's official Facebook page.

The rumor is that this Marc Webb directed reboot see's Parker back in high school and will pull story elements from Brian Michael Bendis' Ultimate universe version of the character. A fact I am pretty psyched about because MBM's Ultimate Spider-Man is one of my favorite books out there right now. Filming now for an expected 03/07/12 release date the reboot also stars the mega talented Rhys Ifans alongside the likes of Sally Fields, Dennis Leary, Julianne Nicholson and movie legend Martin Sheen as Uncle Ben. 


As a certified comic book movie junkie I can't wait for this flick to drop, reboot or not.

    I have to say that I agree with you. I can't wait for this film, either. Garfield looks to be a perfect replacement for Tobey Maguire. Here's hoping that this "reboot" will do for Spider-man what Batman Begins did for the Caped Crusader.
